Publisher's summary

What would it be like to get so close to God that we could see ourselves in His eyeballs? What if we could see our images reflected there because we were so close to him? Chonda Pierce wants to get close enough to God to see herself as God sees her. But to move closer to God, we first have to see him.

In this audiobook, Chonda, with her usual southern humor, tries to open her own eyes and the eyes of the listener wide enough to see God. Where is God when her husband gets a speeding ticket, when her daughter wrecks her grandfather's truck, when there's a tragic plane crash, or when she's driving down the road in a Chevette held together by wire hangers? Come and laugh along with Chonda as she tries to catch God at work in the most unlikely places.

Thought provoking, funny, faith building

Seeing Chonda in concert made me want to explore more of her work. Hearing this book read by her was awsome. It was neat to hear her talking in a calm manner with such personal inflection. This book really brought everyday events into a relm of Godlyness like I hadn't seen before. It is funny, sad, thought provoking, serious, and genuine. A must read for any believer and one to share with those who need to believe.

cute

This book is a compilation of stories from the author's life. She is southern and has that sweet accent (reminds me of a few people I know).

It made me laugh, cry, and helped me to see God in places that I have never seen him before.

My four year old son even asked to listen to it in the car and never made a peep while it was playing.

I enjoyed it.
