God is for you. What does it feel like to be loved by a limitless God? God for the Rest of Us will wake you up to the outrageous, extravagant, and even scandalous love of God for the rest of us - whether you think you are unfit or a misfit, an underdog or overlooked, the least or the lost, the left behind or the left out.
Vince Antonucci, a pastor who reaches out to people on the Las Vegas Strip, has seen it all - and, more important, he has seen God's love in action on each and every street corner. Is God for the people who are left out? Is he for the guy who betrayed his wife and left his kids? Is he for the doubters? The skeptics? The atheists? The answers to these questions can be found in the lives of people Vince meets and ministers to. As you listen to their stories, you'll begin to imagine how your life could be if you truly believed that you are loved with a perfect love.

a review from a self proclaimed idiot....
I think a person should make the type of book choice on how best they receive information. In my instance, I get a lot from audio books.
It tells real life stories of the kind of irresistible Grace that Jesus demonstrated time and time again in the Gospel.
One of the things that reached out and grabbed me with this book is a grace that is rarely to never seen in our churches and Christians today. Too many people reject an intimate, interactive relationship with God based off of inaccurate data. They’ll make their decision not to believe off of pre-concieved notions that aren’t even true. Interpretations and Exegesis of scripture that isn’t even close to being accurate. Maybe even worse, they make their decision off of the lives and actions or what Jesus called “fruit” of Christians. When we read scripture we rarely to never see the kind of grace in the gospels lived out by Christians in our culture. THAT’S the real beauty of this book. Story after story in this book of real life people, just like in the Gospel, experiencing God’s grace, love, and forgiveness. Frankly each chapter in this book illustrates a transforming experience from grace that it seems only God himself would give. Wouldn’t it be nice if God used this book to help start a revolution of people living as an extension of this kind of irresistible grace?
