Publisher's summary

The thesis of this audiobook is that the Antichrist will attempt to present himself as the Jewish Messiah, and that he will try his best to appear as if he is instituting what Jewish believers know as the Messianic Age and what Christians know as the Millennial reign.

This audiobook attempts to show that much of what we know about the Antichrist, such as his destruction of the enemies of Israel in Daniel 11:40-45, his seven-year covenant, his rebuilding of the temple and starting the daily sacrifice, his eventual stopping of the sacrifices and sitting in the temple to accept worship, his making Jerusalem the capital of the world, even his promotion by the False Prophet (which this audiobook argues, claims to be Elijah) all points to the conclusion that his goal is to deceive the world into believing that the Messiah has come, that the Messiah is in fact God, and that he deserves the worship of the world. This audiobook will argue for this view in great detail and give special attention to objections to it.

This audiobook also argues that the little-known eschatological (end-time) beliefs of the Jewish theologians, according to the Talmud and other rabbinic writings, seem to encourage Jews to accept as Messiah a man with the exact characteristics of the Antichrist. Similarly, that Islamic beliefs about the end times, as related in the Quran and the hadiths (the sayings of Muhammad), will cause them to play a very important role in the Antichrist's rise to power.

Though this view is the earliest view of the church, it has been almost totally forgotten in recent years. If it is true, it would mean the deception of Satan in the end times will be far more potent than many of us have ever imagined.

Beat treatment of this subject

Chris did an outstanding job writing on this subject, a subject that is obscured by so many false assumptions and incorrect interpretations. He presents all views before presenting a clear, logical and scriptural explanation of the topic in focus.

A Fresh Perspective on the Antichrist

So many today call every new US President or every Middle East the Antichrist. Mr. White's perspective, that the Antichrist will really be someone claiming to be Jesus and eventually God, seems most plausible to me. I have read books on the Islamic Antichrist theory and found them interesting but not plausible simply because most Christians and Jews would not accept a Muslim as their Messiah. But what if the person was of Jewish decent, performed all of the actions of Jesus in the latter days and appeared as the Messiah? The book also discusses the falsehood of the pretribulation rapture, something I have always believed would cause many to fall into the snare of the Antichrist. Mr. White's references to Scripture and ability to not just pull verses but entire chapters into his theory make me a firm believer that the Antichrist will indeed be someone the majority of Christians and Jews follow blindly in the end.

Love Chris White, where is he?

This was one of the most accurate renderings of the available prophecies on end times. Way better than Late Great Planet Earth.

false Christs

struggle to finnish, it seems i can't really find a clear understanding of what the narator is trying to explain in this book, its too much information mixed up to much back and forth of the same things..too many theories and options outhere, who really knows the truth? ..i guess we will leave and see ...or not

Reformed Study of Biblical Prophecy

Would you listen to False Christ: Will the Antichrist Claim to Be the Jewish Messiah? again? Why?

Absolutely. There are so many details, citations and quotes from various sources as well as the Bible, that one listen is simply not enough to absorb all of the depth included in this book.

What did you like best about this story?

The plausibility and the way it answers to so many confusing and often times, what appear to be irrelevant Biblical passages.

Have you listened to any of Chris White’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

While this is the first Audiobook on Audible by Chris White, he has been producing narration driven videos for years. This one by far is the most high quality both in delivery and content.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I think the tagline is in the title. But if I had to choose:

"A Fresh New Look at the Identity of the Antichrist"

Any additional comments?

Chris has done a marvelous job of working against the conventionally accepted pop views of many interpretations concerning Biblical prophecy to show that from a Biblical perspective, his view is sound and consistent. While many will be unable to accept the views presented in this book outright, a fair hearing of the evidence will cause any skeptic of this view to reconsider their position.

We have to remember that any time we are making speculative projections of how the world will turn out, especially concerning the things revealed to us through prophecy, we ought to keep an open mind and consider all possibilities. After all, the way in which the end of the age will unfold is not based upon our terms, but on His!
