Publisher's Summary

Where do you stand on issues like: Truth, Sex, Homosexuality, Abortion, the Environment, and the Church and Politics? More importantly, what does God say? If there ever was a time for Christians to understand and communicate God's truth about controversial and polarizing issues, it is now. More than ever before, believers must develop convictions based on research, reason, and biblical truth. But it doesn't stop there. It's equally important that you're able (and willing) to communicate these convictions with a love and respect that reflects God's own heart.
This series will help you learn how to respond with love, even in the face of controversy. In the process, you'll discover the power of bringing light - not heat - to the core issues at the heart of society today.

What a beautifully orchestrated look from all sides of some very serious, pressing issues in our day. I loved it! It helped me think through how to respond from a biblical vantage point in love and respect for all. Awesome job!

Wonderful in all respects

Love that Chip Ingram made this audio version available as is. The content is solid, thoughtful, well researched, balanced, and based squarely on Biblical principles. But this audio version allows Chip's HEART be felt. Not dogmatic, but clear and passionate with the very heart of Christ sensed as delicate & (in our present culture) highly controversial "lightening rod" issues are squarely tackled. God's people need to hear this, digest, pray for our culture and our own spirit, share this, and learn to affect our culture with clarity, winsomeness, a servant's heart, and LOVE for those who seem to oppose godly values. Those values are NOT a political party. We are strangers and sojourners here, but we are called to be salt and light. Thanks, Chip, for your gift to us.
