As an atheist I do not believe in God
As an atheist, I do not believe in God but the time I saw this audiobook and listen to it, all of my questions got an answer about religion. This book made me realize that the works of Buddhism were true. It taught me that I should let go of my desires and how to be compassionate to others. This book also teaches me what physical and mental benefits I can get with the practice of yoga and it was really relaxing it always keeps me calm every time I listen to it.

I've studied Zen Buddhism for a bit, was having trouble finding the lineage of it in accordance to the Mahāyāna Buddhism and Theravada Buddhism. This book helped clarify some of that. Also showing some different variation of meditation. all and all, worth the credit.

This book was my first glimpse at Buddhism, and I expected a dry recitation of teachings and tenants. What I found was a smartly written mix of life experiences combined with an easily digestible beginners guide.

listen it.... get used to it.....
This booklet was very helpful for me to begin my exploration into Buddhism. It provides insights and information a neophyte such as I needs in order to grasp a " religion " or ideology quite foreign yet novel to an American raised and I have enjoyed Ian's insights and writing. I am a better person for reading this and assimilating it's value.
