Made me weep…

While I have read the print version of this book before, to hear it read by Stephen Mitchell was profoundly moving.

Only wish for better audio quality

4 stars overall only because the audio quality was not very good. It was difficult to hear even at the loudest setting. It sounded muffled.

5 stars for the actual audiobook & narration. I will listen again. Thank you.

Beautiful truly

Eye opening and healing, this is such a beautiful book and one of the most unique and truthful books I’ve ever had the privelege of coming across. You can also feel Stephen Mitchell’s awe and respect for the text. Incredible.

Great translation

The Gita is one of those sacred books I have thought about reading many times but never gotten to it; until now. And it is as great as I hoped it was. Krishna's unshakable presence and wise words stayed with me long after finishing it. Thank you, Stephen Mitchell for a great translation of this gem.
