Publisher's summary

Are near-death experiences reliable? New York Times best-sellers on near-death experiences depict:

  • A three-year-old who meets Jesus and his rainbow-colored horse
  • A neurosurgeon encountering Om and the Orb on the wing of a butterfly
  • A real estate broker descending to Earth’s center to discover hell is 300 degrees and zero humidity

Do such exotic experiences provide trustworthy information about the afterlife? And, if not, how can we know what happens beyond death’s door? In AfterLife, Hank Hanegraaff, one of the most remarkable theological minds of our time, explains how life in the present intersects with life after life and, ultimately, life after life after life. With laser-sharp clarity, this surprisingly insightful audiobook demonstrates that death is not the end - in fact, it’s just the beginning. AfterLife will forever change the way you view your eternal destiny!

Know more about heaven

I found this o be a very good book. Use of Bible and history of beliefs was very eye opening and educational.

He explains everything so clearly. I did listen to the reader at 1.25x speed tho as I like that pace.

A Clear Glimpse into the After Life

I am an Audible subscriber and listen to a couple books each month. The narrator is crucial to an enjoyable experience and Jon Gauger offers an enjoyable listen. The material of the book is excellent and covers enough material without being too lengthy or theological. Hank provides a scholarly yet accessible analysis of what the Bible teaches about the After Life. He does an excellent job of explain what happens following this life for both the believer in Christ and non-believer. Additionally he points out and warns against false teaching that can spring from near-death accounts which are popular in culture today.

not what I thought it was

I didn't realize that this book was such a push toward Christian beliefs, rather than about spirituality in general. If I wanted to read the Bible, I would have; I wouldn't have purchased this book.
