Great advice for an aspiring woman of God
The book opening started off a little bit questionable as to the author's focus and tone of the book, but that quickly passed. The book turned out to be a wise guide to becoming a woman after God's own heart, meaning a woman who strives to be godly and follow our Lord obediently. The author used scripture to back up her claims of how to be a godly woman and she didn't disappoint. I'll admit it won't be easy to follow her plan, but if you are a child of God, then the Holy Spirit will convict and lead you to be such a godly woman as this. I especially liked the sections on being a wife, mother, and homemaker. Although I am not yet all 3, I strive to be a godly woman in all of these areas and more.

Makes you think, and want to be better!
I liked this book. I can say I felt convicted listening to it by the way I live my life compared to this woman. some things I just don't agree with, or I think Elizabeth didn't explain well, like what submitting to your husband really means, and what it doesn't mean. there is an unhealthy amount of striving to be perfect in my opinion. but God guides well.
