Publisher's Summary

Are you a student who is ready for a teacher? If so, then welcome to A Teacher Appears. As a twenty-two-year old sales rep in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, Lori Toye had never even thought about meditation, let alone asking spirit teachers for help.
But all that changed in 1983 when she got a middle-of-the-night bedside “visit” from Master Saint Germain, an eighteenth-century Frenchman and “Ascended Master”…who later returned with four of his friends—teachers in white robes who presented a map of America with a new geography, along with a message: It is time for worldwide healing. Despite her questions and doubts, Lori surrendered to their requests and began disseminating their wisdom and messages—the earliest of which are published for the first time in A Teacher Appears.
Why is it helpful to get information from spirit entities? How and why should we change? We’ve noticed the drama going on in our weather, on the planet, in our culture. What is that about? What about manifesting money; what about fear, social disharmony, and my excruciating headaches? What am I doing here, how can I prepare for my future, and why on earth would spirit entities need my help? Lori asked these questions and many more.
A Teacher Appears offers fifty-one small but simple channeled lessons about Earth Change and humanity’s opportunity to open to and accept the I AM Presence—your individualized of God. All it requires is inspiration, appreciation, love, and a good teacher.

Real-Life Guidance for the Spiritual Path

Would you consider the audio edition of A Teacher Appears to be better than the print version?

Yes --- for listening to it over and over and over while practicing the exercises discussed in the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Teacher Appears?

Hearing Saint-Germain talk about making the decision of whether to float down the river or get out onto the shore....it affirmed for me the validity of the book as it's the same analogy I received when reading another book by ascended masters that has always penetrated me deeply.

Which character – as performed by Lori Toye and Lou Hunt – was your favorite?

Saint-Germain

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Accessing our own power

Any additional comments?

There is so much information, guidance and "how-tos" in this book that I know I need to listen to it repeatedly in order to fully grasp it all. It's an intimate discussion with the ascended master Saint-Germain, who explains both everyday wisdom for living our lives and somewhat technical advice for accessing the various energies that are constantly available to us. It was my first real exposure to the ascended masters, as before I had only heard of them but didn't really understand their role or relation. Now I feel like I better understand their purpose and how I can develop a more personal relationship with them. I'm looking forward to sitting down and focusing on each separate chapter, one at a time, to put the information into real use.

Wow! What a journey!!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Teacher Appears to be better than the print version?

The audio edition really brought the work to life with the different voices animating all the characters, including the Ascended Masters! I heard things I may have missed in the reading, since it's SO packed with spiritual lessons! Getting to hear it after I read the book really enhanced it for me!

What other book might you compare A Teacher Appears to and why?

I wouldn't specify a particular book, rather a genre of high spiritual seeking and channeling. If you are a seeker or have enjoyed other channeled works, this one will really, really speak to you! It went far and above what I was expecting out of it.

What about Lori Toye and Lou Hunt ’s performance did you like?

Lori Toye is the author, so that always makes it very special and genuine, especially given the extreme personal nature of this particular book, and both do a really great job at differentiating all the characters, including the Ascended Masters, it's always nice and comforting to have a "voice" from the other side of the veil, and the voices fit the characters of those they portrayed very nicely!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

So many, SO many!! The book has a story line, but the real meat of it is all of the channeling and the spiritual lessons that are interspersed! I would say that I found the personal spiritual exercises that could be followed and practiced particularly moving because they make me a participant in something incredibly spectacular!

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book to those who know or even just wonder if there is more to life than what we see. Lori Toye has really laid herself out on the line by sharing her personal experiences and the outcome is this incredibly rich and genuine gift to the world. I wish that everyone would make use of it, so we could bring about a better world!
