Studying the Bible

It was a good book and it gave several good suggestions of getting into the Bible.

I was inspired.

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before I started listening. As a Bible reading beginner, I loved the tips to become a faithful reader of His words. I've always been intimidated by the Bible. The language, the criptic way much is written, all the characters and where they belong in the story. This gave me a way to start, understand, and really study the Word.
I'm glad I found this little gem. I use it for reference now, and go back to it often.

Robotic Reader

I love Jen Hatmaker but this reader was horrible. I'm disappointed with the performance. The reader was stilted and robotic.

not a fan of the narrator

struggled to finish it as I felt like a robot was reading it... I am not real sure what the book was actually about as it was hard to stay focused. was she reading credits at the end of each chapter? wasn't real sure what was going on

Not into being called "Girl!" every other page.

Nothing of value here. Don't waste your time or money. If you can stomach being condescendingly referred to as "girl" every other page, and manage to wade through the dreary personal anecdotes, you'll find nothing of substance for all of your patience.
