Publisher's Summary

Here are four of the best episodes of the comedy news show, including appearances by the late Linda Smith, as well as Simon Hoggart's final edition as chairman.Since 1977, BBC Radio 4's funniest and quirkiest game show has been answering questions and offering wit and wisdom on global happenings, national news, and, quite frankly, pathetic parochial events. Now you can enjoy the highlights of last year's news, distilled by the very best and wittiest panellists.

Love these episodes

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have all the available "News". I listen to them as I fall asleep at night. Even though they are older news, the panel and Sandy ensure they are funny and can be listened to númerous times. Unlike a story, you don't lose the plot line and can return again several times and still laugh. I love it when the panel wanders off the topic to strange concepts such as pigs in India and how many bottoms a spider has. Satire at its best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sandy, pulses it together and has a wonderful laugh.

Which character – as performed by uncredited – was your favourite?

Jeremy Harding seems the master panelist,

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Yes this really happened. You can't make it up.
