So critical with today’s issues

We fight the same issues and battles today that our forefathers fought in 1796, 1980’s and today.

Well worth listening to.

Ultimate, but in the wrong order.

I felt like I was in the audience at eash speech, though I wish they were put in the right order, starting in the 60's and ending with his farewell address. A great collection regardless. Understandable that they couldn't get footage of every speech he did as governor, President, and before that. Still, a well-done collection.

Wish the chapters were in order

Very worth listening to, I only wish the speeches were in chronological order so that you would get the overall story of his presidency. Hard to put the pieces together when the timeline bounces all over the place.

Would be nice if it was in Chronological Order

Awesome collection of speeches but presented in a hodgepodge playlist. It would be nice if they would have started with the oldest speech and worked up to the most recent. i don't really want to hear the farewell address before the 2nd presidental debate. would be nice if it listed what speeches are included and which chapter is each speech. otherwise it's a great listen.

Poorly edited

I am a big fan of Ronald Reagan. I love listening to him speak. I love everything he stood for and believed in. This presentation of his speeches, however, is poorly edited.First, the sound quality in many of the speeches was disastrously poor. in this day & age when we have easy access to audio editing software that will improve and remaster old recordings, it is inexcusable that someone did not sit down and remaster these recordings. Second, there is absolutely no Rhyme or Reason that I can discern in the order of presenting speeches. The first speech is from late in the Reagan Administration. Then there is the second presidential debate in 1984 with Walter Mondale. Then there's the first debate. Then there was a fireside chat in 1982. then there's the farewell address in the 1988 Republican National Convention. It's like someone just found a bunch of Ronald Reagan recordings and slapped them into an audio file irrespective of their order or content. Last, nothing has been done to give the listener any indication as to what they are about to listen to. The recording just starts and you have to figure out by context what in the world the speech pertains to and what time frame it might have been in.

Not a great collection

While I enjoyed listening to Reagan, it could have been better. From a production standpoint, they could easily get rid of the dead air at the end of speeches. It would have been nice to have the speeches in the sequence they were given. I would have liked to have had more of the speeches he gave before he was president. Perhaps some of the GE talks he gave or his radio speeches or speeches as California governor. Those would help shape the picture of the man.

The speeches aren’t in order

The speeches are not in any kind of order. One minute Reagan is addressing a university in Russia. The next minutes he’s making an acceptance speech into the White House. It’s all over the place. There is also no intro telling you where Reagan is or anything like that, so you just have to guess which speech it is. Which was all INCREDIBLY frustrating!
I did enjoy the speeches themselves though.
