Publisher's Summary

Today on O&A, we start the show briefly talking about the Jets game and move in to a discussion on the shooting that happened in Arizona over the weekend. We talk about Sarah Palin’s involvement and the conversation moves to gun control. We play audio of a woman whose cell phone went off during an interview post-shooting. Patrice O’Neal joins the show and says he doesn’t know about the shooting and would prefer to talk about the birds falling from the sky. We talk a little more about homeless Ted Williams, then talk about the Arizona shooting and Obama. Rich Vos joins the show and talks about New Years. Patrice and Vos talk about their girlfriend and wife not working, and Vos talks about his positive outlook. We talk about the NFL, which Vos then turns into a Golf conversation. Patrice tries to teach Vos about football, before we start talking about Vos’ purchases. Vos talks about not getting an iPad, his new watch, and his shady shopping habits. He also brings up gambling. We break down the way Vos and Patrice treat each other, and other people, by attempting to analyze their childhoods. Opie brings up his dysfunctional childhood, and compares Vos and his mom to Homeless Ted Williams. This leads us to playing a video of an Uncle whipping his son for posting on Facebook as if he is in a gang. Vos is fed up with the listeners, and thinks they’re stupid. We talk about movies that we have seen, and Ryan Star comes in to play his new song for us. [Broadcast Date: January 10, 2011]
