What a real hero is.

Very moving and inspirational. If more were like Major Winters , the world would be a far better place. There was nothing I disliked about this book. I felt so many different emotions while listening. If you have seen A Band of Brothers , then this is a must to hear.

Interesting book about a war hero

I feel super disrespectful not giving this 5 stars all around, which why I waited so long to review it. While it is good, it doesn't have the same power as the other books about the Band of Brothers and the members of it. It is certainly worth reading or listening to, and I plan to further explore WWII, D-Day, and the Band of Brothers or Easy Company.

If it weren't for brave souls like Major Dick Winters who knows how long the war would have lasted and what the eventual outcome would have been. But still I give this a respectful 4 stars all around

Anyone interested in leadership needs this book

This book talks about an incredible combat leader by his simple, direct and honest pursuit of personal excellence.

Simply AWESOME

A must read for all American loving patriots. I “read” it via the audiobook version which was EXCELLENT.

More insight about Major Dick Winters. Looking forward to Beyond Band of Brothers. My father fought in WW 2.

Several repetitive chapters.

There were several parts of repetition covered in multiple chapters. Still good insight into Winters.
