Publisher's summary

The key to building wealth the low-priced stock wayLow-priced gems, or what author Hilary Kramer calls "breakout stocks" come in all kinds of shapes and sizes but they all have three things in common:

  • (1) they are mostly under $10
  • (2) they are undervalued
  • (3) they have specific catalysts in the near future that put them on the threshold of breaking out to much higher prices.

In The Little Book of Big Profits from Small Stocks, small stock expert Hilary Kramer looks for stocks with fifty to two hundred percent upside potential!

From drug stocks that may have been punished because an FDA approval failed to materialize when Wall Street expected it to, to the overly zealous selling off of Ford, there are many great low-priced stock opportunities. In this Little Book you'll learn:

  • How to identify the low cost stocks that have the potential to yield big profits
  • >The most important secret to making money in stock investing
  • Plus, you'll gain instant access to a website with educational videos, interactive tools and stock recommendations

The Little Book of Big Profits from Small Stocks explains Kramer's methodology and gives you the ability to analyze the opportunities to pick your own winners.

Critic reviews

"This book reveals a truth that Wall Street doesn't want you to know - that investment success can be yours by traveling the lesser-known but readily available path of small stock investing." (Gene Marcial, Forbes.com columnist and former BusinessWeek "Inside Wall Street" columnist)

Insightful, specific and resourceful!!!

Where does The Little Book of Big Profits from Small Stocks + Website rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is my first audiobook out of two that I have listened so far, both about investment. Although this book is very good and plenty of great advice, it is my second out of two because the second book talks about indexing and avoiding trying to beat the market. If you are dedicated to trading stocks, this is an excellent resource; but if you just want to have your money invested and make it work for you, this might be too much... nonetheless, the more you know the more power you have!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Little Book of Big Profits from Small Stocks + Website?

How supportive and how many resources and tips the author provides. Including the website (which I have yet t visit!!!)

Which character – as performed by Walter Dixon – was your favorite?

No characters in this book

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

liked it

I trade a lot of penny (shit) stocks. I pretty much already used her basic techniques. So if you are just starting out it is a great starting point. It takes lots of research and time to make money in shit.

Almost scammy

This book has little depth and almost all anecdotal information. I would love to see her trading history statements because this mostly seems like a fairy tale. It book is 1/5 if you compare it to market wizards or securities analysis. Ok premise but really, there is no substance.

Book has decent info, but website isn't active?

I've recently gotten into investing, and have been trying to narrow my focus on markets and types of investing. To that extent, this book provided some fairly decent information and insights. However, if you are advertising an additional value with your book, ie. a website, which for all intents and purposes is to increase marketing efforts, you should probably maintain that advertised website.

I understand that the website is a complementary promotional feature. However, the domain for the website isn't even active. That just demonstrates a lack of professionalism, and in a book that caters towards financial markets I expect more from the author.

Seems like a good method but a lot of work

Any additional comments?

The book basically tells you what to look at when doing research on stocks under $10. Everything from price to book ratio to the company's financial statements. I think it would be a full time job to do all the research. Regardless, it is an interesting read.
