Publisher's summary

Unaware, we proceed down the highway of life, pursuing financial security with one foot on the brake pedal and the other on the gas. We may eventually make it to our destination, but only after a pretty jerky ride. We wonder why a few others arrived at the station of financial independence sooner, achieving more, with a much smoother ride.

This audiobook will teach concepts and give insights that are contrary to popular belief. Now is the time to discover the best way to safely accumulate more money. Feeling open-minded? Please listen....

Not bad

Interesting book. Not your typical book of obvious financial tip banter from mainstream best selling authors who have money to promote their book to death. Definitely one you would want to reread when you attempt the concepts or ponder the concepts further to apply to your own personal situation. This book is a good read if you are looking for intermediate to just below expert level of knowledge about personal finances. Learned alot of new info.

terrible risky strategies

terrible book. basically borrow money from the equity of your house and invest it in the stock market. brilliant. some strategies like using home equity loan dollars for other purchases or investments, are no longer tax deductible.

Tons of case studies. Very helpful.

Super full of numbers but helpful nonetheless. Needs a pdf download so readers can see the images the audio references constantly like, "see image 11B"

Very old information

Struggled to finish, because he's referencing laws that are 20 plus years old and no longer seem relative.

Grating Voice

Very grating voice and difficult to listen to. The book recommends some strategies that are close to illegal and not in consumers' best interests, such as mortgaging your home to get money to buy cash value life insurance. .

Missed fortune 101

This book is very thought provoking, It has many good ideas. BUT, when you add them up as an investment option, is not a good investment, if you believe what Peter Schiff is saying in his books.
