Publisher's summary

For twelve years, Mary Buffett had the privilege to gain personal and professional access from her father-in-law, Warren Buffett. Now, she shares his investing philosophy, revealing informal discussions she had with this private genius. Buffettology is a detailed analysis of how, Warren Buffett commits capital to an investment only from a business perspective, the strategy that gives him the discipline to exploit the stock market's folly, and how he selects companies that will generate extraordinarily reliable results. It answers questions that for years seem to have eluded professionals and Buffettologists, about how Warren Buffett turned $105,000 into $20 billion and became the world's most famous investor.

Buffet fan for life

I’ve heard about Warren Buffett in the 90s and have been reading and watching everything he does and says and truly if you want to become an investor The first thing you should do is get the concepts involved and know them as a second nature

Amazing secrets revealed!

This book is short yet extremely informative. It took everything I ever knew about investing and took it to the next level. I will have to read this book multiple times to understand what is being said.

I wish I would have applied this 20 years ago...

If you could sum up Buffettology in three words, what would they be?

In college I learned all about Present Value and Asset Valuation but it seemed to simple to make me rich.
doyyyyyy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Buffettology?

How simple the concept is of treating every investment like an investment instead of speculation.

Which scene was your favorite?

About why Warren drives a used crappy car... Smart guy!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

My cars not sexy but my bank account is!

Any additional comments?

Loved it -- after reading it I sand the Queen song -- "And bad mistakes -- I've made a few" when I thought of how much money I've wasted in my life.

Buffetology

I was very dissappointed in this title. "The Warren Buffet Way" in comparison had much more meat and appeared to have the content blessed by the master himself. Mary Buffet annoyed me severely with "Warren believes...", "What Warren says...", etc. The fact that she is profiting from revealing the treasured family secrets, as a scorned divorcee of a close relative, was bothersome also.
