Years ago, after suffering a humiliatingly large dumb tax, it dawned on me that I have a seemingly unlimited ability to hit unforced errors and sabotage my business and financial success. I suspect you do, too. It turns out that the key to getting rich (and staying that way) is to avoid doing stupid things. I don't need to do more smart things. I just need to make fewer dumb mistakes. The vast majority of our dumb tax is a direct result of emotional, overly optimistic, and poorly thought out decisions.

Well written story about trading and Wall Street
Tim did an excellent job portraying his life as a trader and hedge fund manager. I would recommend this book to anybody looking to invest in the stock market or have any career in finance. Good job and good luck Tim!

A great insiders story
Hedge fund managers are prohibited from speaking to the public in pretty much anyway. Timothy closed his and speaks bluntly about the industry.
Bigger then that he tells how he started from his college dorm room with a curiosity...he's not the next Warren Buffet but he opens the curtains on how the stock market can be cracked by watching the patterns.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Didn't really think about it that way. I listen often when I'm at work or doing other tasks, so I listen to as much as I can. If I don't finish, I return to it at a later time. In fact I think I still have a couple of chapters yet to finish!

Love the Book, Love the Education.....it's really like having a mentor to learn about real-life mistakes and mishaps before they happen or when they happen. I'm so much calmer and confident about investing for the first time in my life. I'm 52!

Motivational Read
It was an ok book...It definitely sheds some light on a start-up Hedge Fund success or failure and the author found his purpose through it all. If you're purchasing this book looking for guidance with day trading you'll be better off utilizing some of the authors other materials that are specific to that niche.
