Old message spoken in a different way

Would you try another book from Robin B. Palmer and/or John St. Augustine?

Not if this is representative of their typical content.

What does John St. Augustine bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The intonation is very good, and it helps inject some life into trite phrases.

Was Optimism with John St. Augustine worth the listening time?

It is worth two minutes to listen if you have not heard other motivational speakers. (The entire "audiobook" is really less than three minutes long.)

Any additional comments?

Though I had hoped to hear some truly unique inspirational insights, this work repeats thoughts that have been uttered by many motivational speakers for the past few decades. Yes, they are worth repeating, but you could gain even more by listening to Zig Ziglar or any of dozens of motivational speakers. You can record your own two-minute motivational wake-up call, or you could do even better by repeating a few phrases to yourself in front the mirror each morning. Search for "Ziglar self-talk cards" to get to the website where you can receive the cards for free.
