This episode of The Green Hornet first aired on July 4, 1939. The Green Hornet debuted on a Detroit station, WXYZ, on January 31, 1936, and later aired on the Mutual and ABC Blue networks until its final broadcast on December 5, 1952. The masked crime fighter was the secret identity of newspaper publisher Britt Reid, who relied on his valet, Kato, and a supercharged roadster, the Black Beauty. Al Hodge portrayed The Green Hornet during the series' first seven seasons, followed by Donovan Faust, Robert Hall, and Jack McCarthy. The series was created by the same team that brought The Lone Ranger to the air.
"Radio's most popular juvenile adventure program." (James S. Olson, Historical Dictionary of the 1950s)

A Modern Style Story of Industrial Espionage.
The actors and narration was spot on perfect for their roles!
The part where the Green Hornet catches the criminals in the end and makes his escape... As usual!
In the beginning the owner of the meat wearhouse was more concerned for his employees than the product, as it ought to be!
I enjoyed this program represented by Radio Spirits, they are simply the best resource for these restored radio programs!
