Publisher's Summary

It is right from the beginning, when you first hear Boris Karloff as host and narrator, that you suspect you are about to hear something frightening. But when another classically creepy voice is heard, that of Peter Lorre, then you know for certain what is coming!

A Blast from The Past

This book is quite entertaining. It gives the older generation a wonderful piece of nostalgia and, to the younger generation, a peek at what entertained the world before television. I sat in my favorite chair with a cup of hot chocolate, wrapped in a blanket with the lights off. The chills abounded. I certainly will look forward to more of this genre.

Great story. Revenge for a frame for Murder!

Would you recommend Creeps by Night to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys old time radio and the Shawshank Redemption. Boris Karloff is wonderful as George Miller. He has an ingenious method of revenge on the rat who put him in prison.

Did Boris Karloff and Peter Lorre do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Boris Karloff is wonderful. Peter Lorre did not apear in this segment. Other actors played the other characters in this play.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, I would see this movie if it existed. The plot was good and had some nice twists to it.

The Great 'Willy Pratt, aka Boris Karloff' In Fine Performance

William Henry Pratt known as Boris Karloff gives yet another
fine creepy performance in this original old Radio Classic.

For its age the soundtrack is quite good. I listened by headphones
there was no crackling and only a slight hiss, nothing to disturb
enjoyment as Karloff does his stuff.

All Karloff enthusiasts will be pleased to add this production to their collection.
