Publisher's summary

Police officers make good witnesses, mainly because that is what they are trained to do. When a police officer responds to a call, they never know what they are likely to encounter. Police officers also often find themselves in odd places, whether it's a patrol at the dead of night on a lonely stretch of road or attending a call of a disturbance at a remote house, police officers go to places that most of us never will. But what happens when the police find themselves investigating things that seem completely outside the boundaries of accepted reality?

Dead-pan, monotonic delivery of good stories

I wanted to enjoy this book, perhaps I'll try the library. The material is great, but the narrator is unfortunately not up to his task.

Narration vs. Content

This is the third audio book I have purchased by William Myron Price in the True Police Stories series. The series content is interesting and entertaining. I enjoyed the books narrated by Mark Rossman and Steve Stansell. These narrators gave the chapters character. The narration of this book, by Nolan Barger, made the audio version difficult to listen to and follow. It is the only reason I rated this book at three stars.

Blah!!!

Struggled to keep listening. Just wasn't nothing there to make you want to keep going. Just talking, no kind of anything to the voice or story. Just blah blah blah and it was over. Thank goodness. So not happy with this story. Waste of time and money. Would not recommend to anyone period.

Intense and sad and scary

My dad used to be a policeman. I loved hearing his stories and how he helped people. How some people tried to take him out.
All of his stories were gripping. Every policeman that survives his job has a working guardian angle. I see a policeman as being a domestic soldier. If your thinking about being a policeman, listen to these books. More REAL than tv fiction.

fake

I expected to hear real cop stories. Ghosts are not real. I feel kinda scammed.
