Thrilling and transcendental
Beautiful story, rich in wisdom and very well performed by Coyote. What stays with me most is: All paths lead to nowhere.The only way to chose a path is to ask: Does this path have a heart? I hope to move forward in my life with this belief, always.

This audio talks only of the teaching between Don Juan and Carlos Castaneda. The physical copy of the book has more information than is givin here. Still excellent 👍

Beautiful
Read so well, so articulately, the few Spanish phrases were so beautiful- I wanted to hear all of it in Spanish, though I don’t speak Spanish. Thank you Peter Coyote. The edit seemed very good too. I’m 65, I loved revisiting this work.

*LESSON: “Careful for what you ask for…”
As a Yaqui myself… As I was listening to the teachings of Don Juan, I honestly felt I was on the edge of my seat, hands / feet sweating, my heart was racing… as if I was the apprentice being taught. When the book ended I wanted more ~ immediately after finishing the audible book I listened to it again!

Essentially spark notes version
Great story but this version is extremely condensed and leaves out so many details. Would look for another audio book version. The 10 hour one.
