But soon things spiraled into jealous obsession, stalking, and a brutal attack that left Laurie murdered in her own bedroom. Better then I expected..

Sometimes with true crime books, they will sound very interesting in terms of the details regarding the particular crime. However, because the " who ,what where , when, why " are usually known prior to reading the book, it takes a good author to make it interesting enough to want to read ( or listen) to the book in its entirety, at least without getting bored.
Unfortunately, there are not enough that fall in that category; this book however, is one of the few.
I felt that the author stuck to the facts, and didn't overdue it on the backgrounds of the persons involved; which was the problem for me with the last true crime book I read "Pure Murder" by Corey Mitchell.
I thought the testimony was interesting and didn't feel like trudging through slush to get through it.
Overall, true crime buffs will enjoy it mand I would recommend this one.

Truth is Stranger Than Fiction

This book already had me hooked before a twist after the trials. Interesting read, and very good.
