If I had never listened to it.
Narrator was fine.
The information presented in this book is done so in a very irresponsible way. Listening to this book actually made me MORE anxious! I was looking for some helpful advice on dealing with a phobia, but this just freaked me out on a whole. The information is negatively presented and some info just plain erroneous. This guy or girl has no right considering themselves an authority on anxiety. Period.

This book was very heavy on describing the symptoms and manifestations of anxiety.
I found it to be anxiety provoking. In fact, the words are still uncomfortably ringing in my ears. Furthermore the solutions were short and glib - talk to a professional, take medication, exercise - all superficially helpful if you haven't done any research at all.
Perhaps the material would be helpful if you are dealing with an anxious person and want some very basic information, like how to recognize if anxiety is indeed a problem for them.
I would have enjoyed a more positive and specific emphasis on solutions - practical, hands on, actual help. Stuart Smally gave better counsel on SNL.
The performance was fine.
I would have limited, or at least softened the long lists of symptoms which actually served to bring them on as I listened, and intensify some of them. Nothing about this book made me feel better. I thought it was going to make me feel better, not worse.
This claims to be a "how to" book. It is in the title, but it is written as a clinically descriptive narrative.
Maybe you should rename it.
