Wonderful, But Read The Secret & The Power First

This a wonderful book , but my least favorite from Rhonda Byrne. I'm just not there yet and not ready for it. It's about becoming the Hero that you are. When I evolve closer to being a hero I'm sure I will find it greatly helpful. I would highly suggest the audio book The Secret first, followed by The Power, and then The Hero last. If you watched The Secret Movie you still need to read or listen to The Secret book. Rhonda is an amazing narrator and there is so much more information in the book and audio book than the movie. I give thanks every day for enlightenment from Rhonda's books and from other seekers and revealers.

Well done...again

I have listened to all of Rhonda's books. While not earth shattering, they are all inspirational and good to hear. If you don't have dreams, you don't need this book, but if you have a dream, this book is for you.

Very inspiring!

What made the experience of listening to Hero the most enjoyable?

I have read The Secret, The Magic, and The Power and I like that Rhonda Byrne always gives the reader/listener something new and provides additional insight on the law of attraction. I loved the characters she showcased and in fact right after this book bough the memoir of one of the people she featured in The Hero.

What other book might you compare Hero to and why?

The Secret because Rhonda Byrne has a unique way to approach the law of attraction. This book is a great stand alone but if you enjoyed any of her previous books you will really enjoy this one.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was very inspiring, the real people and their true stories that she featured all had one thing in common, they started with very little and sometimes nothing and manifested success. I loved each of the people she featured in the book.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book and I will be listening to it multiple times.

It is a practical lesson...

Just the kind of book that people with potential but suffering from inertia should read. It helps remove self doubt at that critical stage and bring our the hero in you!

Disappointing

I really loved both The Secret and The Power. But this book is just shallow and filled with empty cliches....it is just another useless book about how to get succes, with no useful advice what so ever. Not
once they mention The law of Attraction. I am so disappointed.

Very Generic

The Secret was a revelation to many who were not aware. This, however, should be part of The Secret because it's not giving anything substantially different. Also, who is this book for? Is it for a middle class America who's somewhat comfortable but bored? It's not for the person who's been through suffering and challenges, and have tried following their dreams. The narrator says its easier to follow your dreams (than not to), you just have to make the decision. The narrator says it's now or never, life is short. But she also says it's never too late to follow your dreams. Unfortunately, for me the usage of words like "refusal" to follow your dreams comes off as insensitive and out of touch. With that said, this book seems to be geared towards the person who simply needs a push and can listen to the narrator speak in absolutes, not for the person who's read books like these before and is searching for answers, facts, techniques, and new information.
