Poor narrating

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Interesting topic and information.

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A

What didn’t you like about Don Kline’s performance?

Very "choppy" in his sentence delivery. Sounds as though he is reading line by line, instead of sentence by sentence.

Was Forensic Analysis and DNA in Criminal Investigations: Including Cold Cases Solved worth the listening time?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed the book, however, I think I enjoy books that delve into the scientific aspect more. This was very superficial scientifically.

Waste of Time

Well narrated tripe; A lot of opinion and misinformation. Obviously, anyone can publish a book.

Great book

I loved it. It has allot of history of the beginning of forensic science. It explains great detail on how the different type of sciences are applied to forensic. Great detail of cases solved and how.
The performance was understandable, paused and greatly narrated.

BITE MARK EVIDENCE: AGAINST NAS AND PCAST REPORTS

The presence of DNA in the title is misleading. It is there in order to sell books. Deleting "DNA"from the title would make a truer title.

The discussion of bite-mark evidence, although the author credits that evidence with solving cases, is at odds with the NAS Report and PCAST and, for the casual reader, that is problematic!

Gets Better at the End

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you want to know about history and the forensic analysis I would say that I would recommend this book to a friend.

Would you recommend Forensic Analysis and DNA in Criminal Investigations: Including Cold Cases Solved to your friends? Why or why not?

It has some interest in some of the cases that they cover early on in the book. The last hour or 90 minutes references popular cases and the importance of forensic analysis in those cases. I found that 90 minute segment worthwhile and prevented me from returning the book.

Could you see Forensic Analysis and DNA in Criminal Investigations: Including Cold Cases Solved being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

NO
