all action - in true James Bond style

an engaging trip in a modified B52 - detail was lacking in places but still a cracking good listen

IDK it hasn't aged so well, but meh... It was OK

I think it was the accents that really threw me off as well as the pave of some of the dialogue. Still though it was kinda fun like I remember when I read it years ago.

Boo

As a USAF vet I was disappointed with the story and narration. Had higher expectations.

the perfect voice for the Dale Brown series

I have been a big fan of Dale Brown's Series Dreamland. Keep them coming! I have been a big fan of Dale Brown's books ever since I discovered the Tin Man, and was a big fan of how he brought a lot of modern day technology into his writing, years before it was news.

Other reviews too harsh.

The original book was excellent however the abridged version still good. Very talented narrator. This early Dale Brown novel was ahead of its time. Great for B52 lovers. I wish audible had the original unabridged version, but still a good listen.

abridged.

it was too severely abridged from the book. I would like to see future stories unabridged.
