Some narration issues

Overall, the book was okay. More drawn out and repetitive than neccesary to tell the story. The narrator has an annoying technique for letting the listener know it's quoted material; he makes his voice go higher, It works to alert the listener to the fact that it's a quote, but it became so annoying to me, I was cringing, dreading the next quote. Beyond that -- and maybe this was just annoying to me, personally -- he is a good narrator. Book was okay.

Wanted to finish. did Not like narrator

did not finish. did Not like the narrator. Might have been able to finish if narrated by better narrator, that makes all the difference in the world how the book is portrayed. 😕
