Publisher's Summary

This is a collection of Walter Williams’ essays, drawn from his syndicated column. Williams writes with brilliant clarity––and he doesn’t mince words. He destroys a number of prevailing myths, such as economic and social disparities being the result of racism and economic sanctions punishing the South African blacks more that the whites. Williams explains why the nature of congressmen is not to act in the national interest and shows how government regulations hinder rather than help the disadvantaged.
Listening to these columns is both entertaining and enlightening.

Critic Reviews

“Walter is (1) black, (2) opposed to the liberal cult, (3) talks sense, and (4) shows a sense of humor in his writings. This book is a real antidote to the prevailing mush of our times.” (Thomas Sowell, New York Times best-selling author)

What made the experience of listening to All It Takes Is Guts the most enjoyable?

I have long enjoyed Dr. Williams’ commentary on the events of the day. When I saw that he finally had a book with audible.com I downloaded it immediately. I was not disappointed. The fact that the topics covered in this book are a little dated does not detract from the relevance of his words. This book demonstrates that Dr. Williams has always had a unique way of challenging the dominant thought on race, culture, and individual liberty.

Any additional comments?

I look forward to Dr. Williams' other books being made available on audible.com.

Excellent

Mr. Williams is brilliant. We need more of this thought. What will coming generations do without this truth.
