Best-selling author Michael Farquhar is a writer and editor for The Washington Post. A Treasury of Deception is a tongue-in-cheek commemoration of those who attempted to pull off the greatest scams. A Treasury of Deception

A good book. A few of the deceptions were old and used, but still produced a lot of grins. It was what writing is-amusing, thought provoking, fun, the thrill of hearing something for the first time, an exersise in learning, and very well read as a bonus. Perhaps in the next book the author could include Ponzi rip offs and selling mid east wars with alegations of WMDs.
