Best damn book I ever listened to

If this is the worst book Parker ever wrote...then everything else ever written by every writer born pales in comparison and will never come close.

The Debt is Settled

One of my favorite books in the series thus far, the author gives a glimpses of our favorite characters that we hadn't seen before. My personal belief is, the better the bad guy, the better the story, Mr Peepers delivers!

Not my favorite

I always hear “Audible hope you enjoyed this...”. I didn’t. Jesse Stone has always been a tortured character. This ending was just too sad.

Enjoyed the story line. Very good. Slow in a few parts. Good listening book

Great audio book, great narration, sad day in paradise for chief stone. I don’t want to spoil the plot or story, worth the listen.

I found this book very good, interesting story. The narrator is kind of boring though. His reading is kind of dry. You need to get someone else to read, someone like Michael Prichard or Scott Brick.

Enjoyable Read

James Naughton contributed much to my enjoyment of this story. Not to spoil the read for others but I did not like Farrel Coleman's ending. So, I'll rewrite it in my imagination.

No long term happiness ever for Jesse!

Finally, Jesse is able to move on and leave Jen in the past and maybe have some much needed happiness of his own. Of course not!! Now Jesse will drink his way through 5-6 books!!!! Bring Sunny Randall back into his life!!! #TorturedHero, #TearJerker, #Dark, #tagsgiving, #sweepstakes
