For those afraid to lose our job if we report harassment
Not all of us one out with a penny much less a job in the end. It must be stopped before we continue to let unjustifiable pervs run our lives and careers. Although short, we need to not be afraid because speaking out OR even not speaking out causes us women to eventually lose everything in the end. Even our sanity at times! I am speaking from personal experience, not having a career, almost losing everything...including my family. No job is worth keeping your silence. I turned out to be number 6, the only 1 where there were witnesses to prove the allegations my Wind Director from a Suburban Chicago area took advantage of myself and many others. 6 is a small! number in comparison to the realistic number of other women who probably never some up just like myself. I can not imagine the real number of women who suffered silently. It's sad because retaliation does exist no matter what the Ethic's or Compliance Department will tell you. Speak now or forever hold your silence is my belief. Your future truly depends on you speaking up NOW in more ways then you can imagine. Let's stop these chain of events in 2018!
