Horrible now

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A once great daily audio file ruined. The format has gone downhill in the recent year or two.

Has May 25, 2017 turned you off from other books in this genre?

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Any additional comments?

I used to love WSJ on Audible - now it's AWFUL!!

Listening to the WSJ on Audible has been the highlight of my commute for 6 years now and is the primary reason I joined Audible in the first place. This month, WSJ cut the morning read from 45-50min to about 25min (this morning was actually 24). As if that weren't bad enough, the article selection is absolutely atrocious with a heavy weighting of lifestyle pieces about movies, entertainment, and other crap that I don't care to read about or listen to...and if I did, there are PLENTY of other venues I could go to.

I listen to the WSJ to hear about BUSINESS. The Heard on the Street column used to be a long time staple of the morning read. I've not heard it since they redid the format. In addition, a selection from the Editorial pages was always at the end of each morning read (with content I very much value), and now there will be days without an Editorial article. Don't worry though, if you want to hear about how slime is the new hit thing with kids, or about finger spinners, or how the director of the new Superwoman movie broke through Hollywood's glass ceiling...this is the listen for you!
