"Hoover and Fisher have combined their unique talents to deliver a deliciously twisted tale of deceit, love and friendship that keeps you guessing long after the heart-stopping end." ( Vilma’s Book Blog)

4 Never Star’s

I waited to read these until they were all done, so I could just read them all together… So glad I did, because that cliffy was MEAN.

Charlie & Silas have lost their memories of themselves, and each other but also their family and friends. Yet somethings remain. Lyrics to songs, names of celebrities, driving, password for a laptop and so forth but nothing of who or what happened to them to make them this way. And it’s not easy “waking up” alone.

‘I close my eyes and pull away from her. I run my hands through her hair, the frustration of the day catching up to me. I can make light of it all with my jokes. I can dismiss her theories – from tarot readings to fairy tales – simply because it doesn’t make sense to me. But she’s right. None of this makes sense.’

They know they are a couple by the way people talk about them but they remember nothing, but the feeling when they are together those confuse them. It’s a pull like none other they are drawn to each other for no other reason that it feels right.

‘When we lock eyes, I feel like I’m meeting a brand new side of her. A side of her without resolve. A vulnerable side. A side that’s allowing herself to feel something. I want to grin and ask her how it feels to be in love, but I know teasing her in this moment would piss her off and she’d walk away and I can’t let that happen.’

great story but only half a book

I really enjoyed this story but be warned, it ends suddenly and leaves you feeling like you have only half a book. I will purchase the next book but I feel like I am being forced to buy something that should have been in this book.

I mean, nothing really happened

Nothing really happened in this book. It was so incredibly short and just lead nowhere and then leaves you open ended.

Looking for answers

Would you consider the audio edition of Never Never: Part One to be better than the print version?

I enjoy audio books over books sometimes because they really show you the characters differently than how you may read them to be.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked this story because it's different than most books I read. The characters unsure of themselves, each other and trying to discover who they are makes for a very interesting storyline.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to this audio in a several sititngs

Great read

It was a great listen. I just wish I would have realized I was using one of my credits for only 4 hours of a Part 1 book. I wish it would have been more parts included. Cliff hangar! Now I want to listen to Part 2!

All around great experience!

Big fan of Tarryn Fisher and this book was another home run from her. The narration was a perfect match for the characters, the storyline was very enjoyable (if maybe a lil improbable), and the development and pacing kept me entranced throughout the whole thing😁
