Publisher's summary

Normal Junction is anything but! It can't be found on any map, but it's a place not too far away from where you are. It's a place where people go when things in their life are turned upside down - a haven, a place where hope, resilience, and even miracles reside. Come, take a trip to Normal Junction, and watch how the spirits collide to turn things right-side up.

In this installment, Calayiah "Layah" and Lybbestre "Libby" Frazier are witches of the Normal Junction kind. They do more than repair watches in their shop, and this time it's Teagan Blake, who they'll help discover who murdered his grandmother.

Tell Me a Story, Please?

Remember, when you use to hang out with your favorite Auntie during the summers and it was time for bed? You both get in bed after your baths & pillow fight, say your prayers and then the room would get quiet b/c back then we didn't go to sleep w/ the TV on. The only sound was the fan, crickets, and you two breathing. Auntie would instantly start to fall off to sleep but not you & you'd say "Auntie, you sleep?" All slyly like you didn't know she was but she knew you did. She so kind she says to you, "A little, what you need?" You hit her with the "Can you please tell me a story. Please, you tell the best stories." She sighs dramatically asking "Aren't you to old for bed time stories?" You reply meekly with a soft "No." She rolls on her back blows out a breath of air & out comes this tale....

That is how enjoyable this story was to me. I felt 8 years old in the way back of the Chesapeake hanging w/my Auntie. Practicing my braiding skills on her hair and learning things I never could in the city. When the night comes asking for a story.

Ms. Vandiver thank you for a tale that suspend my imagination for a bit. Between "The Virus", "The Commander In Chief", Wife, & Mom duties I so needed this today.

Is this the absolute best cozy I have ever read no. Is this the absolute best cozy I have ever read by this author no but it was just what this reader needed today. Perhaps, it will be just what you need for a few hours. Stay safe & keep your distance!
