Does it ever get to the point?

The premise is good but the characters who are a group of high school "friends"who have been reunited 20 years later are behaving like they are still in high school. They get back together becasue the bones of someone they believe to belong to a missing girl form their class are found near their old school. The whole first half of the book is basically various members of the group meeting to discuss the missing girl. If I heard the line "do you really think she is dead" one more time, I think I was going to scream.

It takes way too long for anything meaningful to happen and the dialogue is very young. The commentary from the evil behind all the activity is just silly.

Spare yourself, and don't buy this one.

Grow up

A past Lisa Jackson fan, I only finished listening to Wicked Game through sheer determination. Of the 16+ hours, maybe 4 actually advanced the storyline. The rest was teenage angst.
