Publisher's Summary

Hidden behind the veil of their secret society the group known as the Illuminati have still managed to garner great attention and acclaim. They have been blamed for everything imaginable such as being the igniting force behind the French Revolution and being the real masterminds behind the 9/11 attacks. They have even been credited with assassinating both Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy, because these two celebrated presidents made the unfortunate mistake of trying to usurp their unquestionable power.
The so called conspiracy theorists say that they are hell bent on ushering in their new world order which consists of the establishment of a one world government, a one world army and destroying the sovereignty of every nation. They are said to be implementing their New World Order through organizations they are identified with as being part of like The Bilderberg Group, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, The Club of Rome and many others. There are prominent families who are also said to be part of the Illuminati like the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds. But are these assertions valid? Does popular society have it right or have they simply misunderstood this secret group? Have they been given a bad rap?

In his revealing book entitled Who Are the Illuminati: The Secret Societies, Symbols, Bloodlines and the New World Order author Frank White takes a critical look at this powerful underground secret society, who they are and what their intentions are in a world filled with scorn for them. He explores not only the true facts about the group, but also the urban legends attributed to them, some of which are true and others of which have been greatly exaggerated. For example, do they really control the world and everyone else are just slaves to their whims and madness? Do they have a stranglehold on the entertainment and music industries and are the popular stars just puppets carrying out their agenda to the masses? Did they really order the murder of pop superstar Michael Jackson? These questions and many more will be answered in this explosive book.

Sadly I didn't like this book at all

When an author recommend the reader googling his postulates I can't take him/her serious.

The narrator is reading the book too fast. It can be adjusted in audible but for the price I expected a little quality which I didn't receive

Great Illuminati 101 for beginners

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I did not like the narrator- I felt she sounded too young, almost distractingly young.
More suited to read Mary Poppins or narrate the role of a bubble gum chewing candy striper in some horrible teen fiction novel.
Too bubbly of a read for such "dark" subject matter
Any additional comments?

Good book, very quick to the points. Great beginners intro to "who are they" I will recommend to friends who roll their eyes and turn their noses up to the mere mention of this group, who most associate with tin foil hat wearers.
Lots of speculation of course, most books about illuminati are.....
Its got a good brief accounting of the history of the group, which again is good for beginners.

Terrible

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

not buying this book

Has Who Are the Illuminati put you off other books in this genre?

no

Would you be willing to try another one of Mysti Jording’s performances?

no, sadly her voice, pitch, tone are not suited to this type of audio presentation.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

no

Any additional comments?

Whilst I really wanted to enjoy this book and I wanted to listen to a well reasoned argument about the possible existence of this secret society. Sadly the author makes many unsubstantiated claims and whilst some interesting points are made, when they are they really need to be based on demonstrable facts not hear say and conjecture. The Illuminati are a secret society so what really is the chance of this author being laid bare with provable facts. The only thing the author did was a conspiracy theorist with too found a dislike for rich and influential individuals & companies. Sorry on my 8 out of 10 cats scale this is 1 cat.
