Publisher's Summary

Ginny Young is on a plane en route to see her mother, whom she hasn't seen or spoken to for 35 years. She thinks back to the summer of 1958, when she and her sister, Sharla, were young girls. Moving back and forth in time between the girl she once was and the woman she's become, Ginny at last confronts painful choices that occur in almost any woman's life and learns surprising truths about the people she thought she knew best.

Ellen Berg???

I love Elizabeth Berg's writing. She has the ability to capture those moments in our youth in a voice that sounds authentically like a child. I memorize many of her similes, because they so accurately describe a feeling I had that I had thought indescribable. So, even though my name IS Ellen, I was horrified (okay, that's a little dramatic) to hear the announcer at the end of this recording say "That was Ellen Berg" ????? Can't someone correct that?
