This is such a great series, I've looked so forward to this book's release. This is book #5 in the series and I can't praise the first four enough.
This is another suspenseful story with some twists that make solving the crimes just a little more difficult.
A woman sees a murder take place in an apartment across from her own luxury condo. It kind of has a Hitchcock's Rear Window kind of feeling. She calls the police but can't give a description because she has a disorder that prevents her from being able to recognize faces. So she calls Shaye... and the tension builds.
The characters in this book are well fleshed out and believable. I really have to try DeLeon's other series.
Julie McKay does a great job narrating.

Unseen, Book 5 in the Shaye Archer series by Jana DeLeon, is, like the prior four novels in the series, a near perfect psychological/suspense mystery/thriller. The novel and series combine excellent character development with strong suspense and lots of action. Of course there is also the crazy yet crafty antagonist. The series books, like all of DeLeon's novels, are set in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Julie McKay does a nice job of narrating.
I recommend this psychological thriller series as well as Jana DeLeon's cozy mystery Miss Fortune Mysteries series which is set outside of New Orleans in the tiny town of Sinful, Louisiana.

I love the shaye archer books. The mystery is always riveting and the main characters resonate while the villains are completely creepy and seriously scary. This one is no exception.
I love the narrator too. I hope she continues with the series.
