Publisher's Summary

Betsy Devonshire has settled into her new home in Excelsior, Minnesota, as owner of the town’s needlecraft shop. So why is she suffering from terrifying nightmares? She hasn’t a clue - but thinks maybe it would help to get away for a while. With her friend Jill in tow, she heads north for a “stitch-in” at a remote, rustic lodge. Then the body disappears - and she knows she won’t get any rest until she untangles the mysterious threads of the crime....

Another good!!!

These are definately fireside listens. They are far fetched in that the police are so laid back. Hopefully this is not the way in real life, but they make for easy and enjoyable listening.

I am going through the whole series in the proper order, and enjoying each of these books.

What's with the incorrect pronunciation?

In the past month I've listen to several of the needlework stories. I'm surprised the narrator, who is a professional never learned the correct pronunciation of so many Minnesota towns and legendary names. She mispronounces Wayzata, Brule, Medina, Ole, Edina....and more. She doesn't get better as the series goes on. I hope the story never takes place in Grand Rapids and she needs say the name of the Main Street "pokegama".
