Trouble Trouble

this is the 2nd book in the Torrent witches. This a great series. It is funny and there is something always going on. This time it involves murder, ghost. The past meets the present. It seems Harlow and her cousins are always getting into trouble. This book is no exception. i recommend this series if you like good clean funny stories with a touch of paranormal, I received this book free for an honest review. I am glad i have found this series. I hope the rest of the book will be put in audio form.

Don't miss this one!

murder, witches, humor, romance, suspense, family-dynamics, ghosts, magic

Fascinating read! Sure, it's somewhat lighthearted, romantic, and sleuthy, but there is this whole concept of being in two or more time spaces at once. The publisher's blurb gives the basic clues, and spoilers would be a disservice to both author and reader. You can't regret buying this one!
Natalie Duke does fantastic at audio interpreting, and adds to an already addicting tale.

A mystical comedy mystery

Overall this second book has more enchanted mystical "witchy" dialogue and plots, in comparison to book 1. Book 1 was mild on the spells & sorcery and heavier on getting to know the quirky characters. So, if you aren't into fantasy or the sort you might want to start at book 1! There were also paranormal stuff going on, but it's done very innocently.

That being said, I feel like I really have grown to like these characters, because they are truly one big quirky family. The dynamics are hysterical, and Aunt Cass even strikes a bit of terror into me! They're a lovable clan, and because of that I didn't mind more of the mystical aspects. I also believe this has to do with the humor and comedy that sets the tone for the whole book. It's all lighthearted and comical, as is seen with Harlow's cat Adams who speaks and has the sassiest attitude!
I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest review

Great humor

Loved it! Narration was perfect. The humor used throughout the book just got better as one got to know the different characters. The romance was sweet and did not overwhelm the plot. It was just a lot of fun from beginning to end. I eagerly look forward to the next one!
