... tired of detectives who face serial killers without backup. High time for a new tool to create suspense.

Great pick!
The story was really good, but I must say the narrator made all the difference. You always knew which character was speaking, especially Snider. Will be looking for that author/narrator combo in future book picks.

Very violent story
I couldn't finish this book. The description of the killings are so violent that I will have nightmares.
It was basically unbearable for me listening to this book - although I usually very much like a good "Krimi".
This book might have a good story and might be interesting but I will never know.
I will return this book to audible and hopefully find something that does not make me sick to my stomach.
