Publisher's summary

Mystery and danger follow Casey Fremont once again. This time, it might just get her killed.

Casey Fremont's ex-husband, Jarvis the Rat, is two months behind with alimony payments, so she asks TrueTemp Agency to find a temp job for her - this time it is with a legal firm. As the new job begins and Casey's life with her two roommates and detective boyfriend continues on, postcards begin arriving in Casey's mailbox. They contain images and cryptic messages. Messages that Casey believes relate to a series of murders occurring in the state capital, Little Rock.

Needing to decipher the messages to prevent further deaths, Casey has to both battle her stalker, the mysterious and deadly 'Romeo', and convince the police that they are on the wrong trail. All before Casey or any of her friends end up dead.

Interesting listen

I didn't know this was the second book in the series, but it didn't stop me enjoying the story I don't think it was necessary to have read the first. The characters were pretty distinct enough and easy to follow, along with the narration, to which the distinct voices created really added to the tale.

I haven't listened to many mystery stories, or read in that genre much, so to keep on guessing what was going on and what plot twists would happen was very refreshing. The tension was pretty high throughout and ramped towards a semi-satisfying ending. Maybe I just wanted that bit more, for it to last a bit longer, I'm not sure. I think I might go back and get the first one just so that I can see if it was just tying in and working towards more of the third book... if it's a series like I do believe now that it is. :) will be watching out for the next one. :)

I received this book free from the narrator without obligation.

A Carefully Written and Narrated Action Story.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this mystery. There were enough twists and turns to challenge my reasoning ability with the perpetrator not surfacing until nearly the end. Even then there was a lot of action that required the listener's attention . You couldn't revisit all the clues in your head while Casey was trying to dispatch Romeo. It held my attention right to the end. The narration was excellent and I became comfortable with each character's voice identity. Effie, Becca, Casey and Falcon with remain with me for a long time.

Casey Fremont Mystery #2, quick and fun listen!

A perfect summer book--fun and interesting. I found myself looking for things to clean because I typically listen while cleaning house. This story had many more characters than the first book and Aisling did a great job giving each character a distinct voice and maintaining that voice throughout the chapters. The story was gripping and I wasn't able to guess the ending right away. I enjoyed this listen very much and look forward to the next book(s) in the series.

Three-Four, even BETTER! MORE, MORE, MORE!

I LOVE THIS SERIES! Casey and her group of friends, co-workers, romantic interests, etc. are all so wonderfully entertaining! I really liked how the author brought the first book's murder mystery and the characters over into the second book, but still works as a stand alone for anyone who didn't read or listen to the first. I don't usually like on going series but I find myself excited for the next book. Again Aisling Gray's narration brings each characters individual characteristics to life!

The clues are ingenious. Aisling Gray artfully voices the colorful cast of characters.

improved!

The authors second novel was better than the first, more action, and the characters more exciting and three dimensional. I enjoyed listening to the narrator. she had more characters to portray this time and did a great job. I would listen to the next one.

Romeo Montague he ain't! Juliet she ain't either!

Would you consider the audio edition of Three-Four, Kill Some More to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the ebook or print version. This is the second audiobook in the series and Aisling Gray has done a great job on the narration for both books. I may stick with the audio versions.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Three, Four, Kill Some More is just a touch more edgy than One Two. Still a light, enjoyable read though.

Which character – as performed by Aisling Gray – was your favorite?

Casey again. A Temp Agency for Investigators. A convenient Homicide detective for a boyfriend. and various helpful roommates and friends to help. It works. Aisling has got em all covered.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It evoked concern for Casey's and her friends' safety. The stalking increases is what I'll leave it as, so as not to spoil others listening enjoyment.

Any additional comments?

In my earlier review of One Two, I mentioned that many attempts had been made by other authors to find unique characters and circumstances to inject into investigations. Most often the effort fails. In this case though it's successful. With characters you care about, villians that are seriously bad, and Little Rock, Arkansas as setting.

Thanks for the bonus listen. I enjoyed reviewing this and the previous audio book in this series.
