Would you consider the audio edition of Thicker Than Water to be better than the print version?
Both print versions and audio versions have their own merits, I read the eBook first but wanted to listen to Becky Hindley read Jessica again, she does a fantastic Jessica as I know from listening to all the others in the series.
What other book might you compare Thicker Than Water to, and why?
Any other Jessica Daniel title, because they are the only books that could be this good.
Have you listened to any of Becky Hindley’s other performances? How does this one compare?
This performance by Becky is much the same as all of her other performances, which is to say, absolutely brilliant.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Many a laugh out loud response and a few reactions of irritation at the way Adam and Jessica were keeping secrets from each other. I felt like crying at the end though, simply because it had finished.
Any additional comments?
Jessica is back in top form in this book, annoying her way around the city, There are some tensions between between Dave and Jessica, also between Adam and Jessica in this story which were irritating and amusing in equal measure. <br/><br/>My favourite chapter would be the Comedy Club with Hugo's magic performance.

The missing book finally on audio! This did mean I listened to them out of order but did fill in some of the gaps for me. I did buy the paperback but thankfully this became available before I got too far in!
I have enjoyed every single book in this series - excellent book and great narration - kept me in the story and didn't feel my mind was wondering while listening as sometimes it does when I just can't get into a book. I do think you should read them in order to understand the background bits.
