What did you like best about The Yellow Room? What did you like least?
I am a willing participant in just about anything written by Mrs. Rinehart. The Maine setting of this one was a particular draw
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Yellow Room?
The arrival of Carol's entourage at the surprisingly empty summer home
What didn’t you like about Liza Ross’s performance?
Oh, Ms Ross, Ms Ross--these people are in MAINE, the Northeastiest of the Northeastern states. Why then, dear, do you assign to each and every one of them the sounds of the Myid Wyest??! " Cyarol fyelt gryatefyul to the pyoint of tyears, ..." Ugh I was so put off by this that I could not finish. I'll just hunt up and read the book.
No objection to these accents in their proper place, however.

The narrator does well with nicely depicted characters and an interestingly twisted plot until the final few chapters where our hero has conversations and confessions with various key players which exclusively use pronouns. He is handed vital clues and documents which are not disclosed to the reader/listener and leave us feeling cheated as we try to work out whodunnit. The denouement is a complete mess, I'm still not entirely sure who killed whom!
