Average yet entertaining
This book is definitely entertaining. It's a fairly fast paced spy thriller that is different enough from the usual fare in the genre to be interesting and engaging.
However, some of the circumstances in the book, including behavior and reactions of several characters, completely strain belief. I expect when reading any book that I'm going to have to suspend some disbelief, but this seemed really (I mean really, really) over the top. I hate spoilers so I won't say any more, but if that sort of thing doesn't bother you go ahead and enjoy the book.
I found the narration merely adequate.

A good story that moved too slow
This novel deviates from the norm of detective and thrillers and for that reason I would recommend it. However, the pace was a bit slow for my liking. Simon Vance, one of my favorite narrators, doesn't disappoint in this reading but to have him portray a 15 yearold, American girl pushed even his artistic boundaries.

Great way to spend a rainy day!
I have to say it was really nice to have such a great mistery without so much focus on the description of the blood and gore. Thr fact that the sex was implied by 2 young people and not described was also very tasteful. I look forward to reading more by this author!
