Publisher's summary

She’s stuck with Jack…

Lorraine Dancy has just discovered that everything she believes about her father is a lie – starting with the fact that Thomas supposedly died years ago. Now she’s learned that not only is he not dead, he’s living in a small town south of the border. In the process of tracking him down, she manages to get framed for theft and pursued by the real thief, the police, and a local crime boss. Her father’s friend Jack Keller agrees to help her escape, although Lorraine’s reluctant to depend on a man like him.

And he’s stuck with her!

Jack’s every bit the renegade Lorraine thinks he is – an ex-mercenary and former Deliverance Company operative. He’s also the one person who can guide her to safety. But there are stormy waters ahead, including an attraction neither of them wants to feel. An attraction that’s as risky as it is intense – for both of them. The sooner he can get Lorraine home, the better.

Pretty Good

It was a pretty good book, it ended well but it was a lot of time wasted between Jack & Lorraine, but hey, at least they ended up together.

Great performance.

I think a good story can be easily ruined by lousy narration. Debbie usually has great narrators, this book definitely does. The story is full of action, and clean romance. I've listened to it several times and enjoy it every time.

Lacks Humor

I have Maybe 10 of this authors works. And I love Father’s Day “you’re not a girl you’re a mom” but this one failed to grab me even though the hero is just up my alley. Our heroine just fail to Capture my heart and yet a few reviewers have re listened so it is just on me. I’m on a run of buys by this narrator. She did a good job, no complaints there. The full back story on this book was not my cup of tea

Content

I didn't like this book. The story started out good but, then took a nose dive. Foul language , explicit detail. After I listened to 4 of her books, I was looking forward to more stories. I deleted this from my library.

I have a couple more of her audio books. I hope I will not be disappointed and have to delete anymore of her books.

cute storry

I enjoyed this book. However, it did go slowly and I grew tired of it near the ending. The narrator was very good. I thought the heroine was a bit too syrupy sweet. Hence, the three star review
