Publisher's Summary

The first time Tucker sees Ivy Elgin, she is standing between two tigers that have escaped. Fearless, her presence calms the animals and Tucker is struck by the belief that, somehow, she is meant for him.
But Ivy has the unshakeable feeling that something is about to happen to her - something that will change her life forever. Joining Ivy on her mysterious journey, Tucker has no idea of the challenges they will meet along the way, as their lives become irrevocably entwined.

Not Koontz finest work

I struggled to finish this.....and it had a most unsatisfactory ending. Main character was 2 dimensional and no woman/mother would have reacted the way she did. It is hard to explain without spoilers so I won't elaborate. If the “left in mid air“ ending to the book is to leave it open for a second book I won't bother to read it....but my opinion is the sloppy ending is due to this story going nowhere! I recommend you read any other Dean Koontz book than this one. The narrator did a good job.

Terrible Narrative

Nothing personal towards the Narrator however I have to say, the narration ruined the story. Her voice was so monotone that I could only bear to listen at 1.5x the speed.
I have just finished listening to the Outlander series who’s narrator is excellent so perhaps that made the listening of this narrative that much worse but from now on I will remember to listen BEFORE I buy.
