Publisher's Summary

When what seems like a normal pit stop turns into more than just gas and food, a lost traveler finds himself searching for the truth of a 20-year-old mystery.
Detective Gino Canale doesn't believe in a hereafter, let alone ghosts looking for closure. But when his reoccurring dream implies that his grandparents' deaths might actually have been homicides, not to mention that he's hearing bells that don't exist and smelling a pipe when no one is smoking, he realizes he's either connecting to the other side - or going crazy.
And he's not sure which thought scares him more.

Haunted By The Past

What did you love best about The Pit Stop?

I loved that it was multi genre and yet a really quick listen. The whole story was there eve n though it was short.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes! It was very intense and suspenseful. Ghosts & secrets & murders... Oh my!

Have you listened to any of Michelle Babb’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Michelle Babb always provides a great performance! I especially liked the accents she did for some of the characters. Even though this book was very short she brought each and every character to life. I can't wait to hear what she narrates next!

Any additional comments?

This series must be listened to (or read) in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to listen to The Depot: When Life And Death Cross Tracks!

Gino has been having dreams about his dead grandparents. They seem to be warning him of danger. Is the warning for real? Who would want to hurt him and his wife? How could it be related to his grandparents who died over twenty years ago?

***This series is suitable for mature young adult through adult listeners (or readers) who enjoy short supernatural mysteries with a bit of romance and ghostly intervention :)
